The 2023 ‘A Unique Perspective’ Calendar is dedicated to Michael (Mickey) and Deirdre Daly, whose mother, Maggie Daly was the guiding inspiration for our Maggie Daly Arts Cooperative (MDAC), established in 2014.

Mickey is an avid and competitive athlete, an enthusiastic sports fan, a true renaissance man, and a dedicated and uniquely talented artist who for decades has actively participated in the Kennedy Collective’s art programs. For nearly forty years, The Kennedy Collective has been the constant in Mickey’s life providing him inspiration, guidance, laughter, and innumerable kindnesses.

Deirdre Daly is an attorney who has worked as a federal prosecutor and in private practice. She was honored to be the first woman to be presidentially appointed (by President Obama) to serve as Connecticut’s United States Attorney. Throughout her career, Deirdre has been active in community outreach and has served on several non-profit boards.

The Kennedy Collective is eternally grateful to Mickey, Deirdre and the entire Daly family for their spirit, passion, and enduring contribution to our mission.

2023 marks the 40th anniversary of The Kennedy Collective’s ‘A Unique Perspective’ Calendar. What began as a seed of an idea in 1983, has become an enduring and beloved tradition showcasing the incredible work of the artists who have graced our studios with their passion and creativity throughout the years.
