Congratulate our Project SEARCH Graduates!

On June 24, The Kennedy Collective and Stratford YMCA gathered for the partnership's first official Project SEARCH Graduation Ceremony. Graduates, Max, Brendan, and Vincent participated in Project SEARCH 9-month internship program designed to prepare young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for competitive employment.

During the program, our interns rotated through three training areas including childcare, facilities maintenance and membership services. They also spent time volunteering and visiting a variety of job sites to learn about different positions that will help guide them on their path to employment.

Many thanks to Jeniece Blumell, TKC Transition Specialist, who was on site at the Stratford YMCA to guide and support our interns throughout the program.
