On Monday, August 28, United States Representative, Jim Himes was honored as an AbilityOne® Congressional Champion of Employment Opportunities for People with Disabilities. The AbilityOne Congressional Champions Program was established in 2002 to honor representatives and senators who have demonstrated a commitment to constituents with disabilities as well as the AbilityOne Program. 

The award was presented by The Kennedy Collective President & CEO, Rick Sebastian along with Nevin Frank and Trechena Grier, The Kennedy Collective employees and this year’s representatives to the SourceAmerica Grassroots Self-Advocacy Conference in Washington DC.
