Over the next few months, you are invited to join us on a creative journey as we explore a variety of art techniques, learn about different artists, and experiment with new materials. This group is led by Meaghan Heeks, an Expressive Arts Therapist at The Kennedy Collective. We will be creating art via Zoom & in-person. Price for in-person covers all costs of materials. Save $10 by joining both Zoom & In-person!

Parents Empowering Parents (PEP)
Time: 6:00 - 7:00pm

Parents Empowering Parents (PEP) is a safe place for parents and caregivers to talk about their life caring for a child or Adult on The Autism Spectrum or other diverse needs. This is a positive group where we share resources, talk about challenges and accomplishments, provide parent information workshops, discuss advocacy, and support and empower each other. This group will meet one time a month via Zoom, with the potential for in-person…TBD!
Thursday (Zoom and Fairfield University)
TOPS (Transition Opportunities for Postsecondary Success)
Time: 4:00 - 5:00pm (Zoom), 4:00 - 5:30pm (Campus)
Zoom: 10/13 & 11/3
Campus: 10/20, 10/27, 11/10 & 11/17
Ages: 18-21 yrs.
Fee: $250
TOPS students are invited to join a unique program for those with ASD who are considering college as the next step. With the guidance of The Kennedy Collective, Fairfield University Faculty, and Graduate/Undergraduate Students, this group will meet via Zoom and on the Fairfield University Campus to work on topics related to the college age student. TOPS will run for 6 consecutive weeks, with attendance being mandatory for both Zoom and on Campus.

Hanging with Friends
Time: 6:00 - 7:00pm
Zoom Dates: 9/22, 10/6, 10/20, 11/3, 11/17 & 12/8
In-Person Dates: 9/29, 10/13, 10/27, 11/10, 12/1 & 12/15
Ages: 18+
Fee: Zoom: $60, In-Person: $144, All: $200
Hanging with Friends is a social group for young adults with ASD. This is a self-guided program, where the group votes on the activity for the following week. We will meet online for Trivia, virtual Tours, or group games, and will also meet In-Person at different locations (ex. restaurant, bowling, etc.). Hanging with Friends is co-led by Rayshonda, who holds a Graduate Certificate in Special Education Transition to Adulthood and a TKC Staff. This group is both fun and educational! Time may vary, depending on activity.

Preschool Pals
Time: 9:30 - 10:30am
Dates: 10/1, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17
Ages: 3-4 yrs.
Fee: $400
Preschool Pals is an interactive playgroup that focuses on language and social communication through a play-based curriculum. This group is led by a speech and language pathologist and will guide the group as they participate and practice age-appropriate play skills.
Explorers
Time: 9:30 - 10:30am
Dates: 10/1, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17
Ages: 5-11 yrs.
Fee: $300
Explorers is a social group that encourages language and social communication through reciprocal play, art, and age-appropriate social skills. Skills will be practiced through organized activities led by a Kennedy Collective staff with advanced support from a Behavior Specialist when needed. May be combined with Move and Groove.
Move and Groove
Time: 10:30 - 11:30am
Dates: 10/1, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17
Ages: 5-11 yrs.
Fee: $300
Move and Groove is an hour-long program of dance, movement, and yoga, facilitated by a Dance and Movement Therapist (DMT). Can be combined with Explorers.
Trailblazers
Time: 10:30 - 11:30am
Dates: 10/1, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17
Ages: 12-16 yrs.
Fee: $300
Trailblazers is a social activity group designed to foster appropriate peer communication in a natural setting. Skills will be practiced through organized activities led by a Kennedy Collective staff with advanced support from a Behavior Specialist when needed. Can be combined with Jump and Jive.
Jump and Jive
Time: 9:30 - 10:30am
Dates: 10/1, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17
Ages: 12+
Fee: $300
Jump and Jive is an hour-long program of dance, movement, and yoga, facilitated by a Kennedy Collective Dance and Movement Therapist (DMT). Can be combined with Trailblazers.
Future Strong
Time: 10:30 - 11:30am
Dates: 10/1, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17
Ages: 16-21 yrs.
Fee: $300
Future Strong is a social group that encourages healthy relationships and friendships through peer mentoring and the exploration of self-advocacy in a natural setting. Can be combined with Jump and Jive.
Among Friends Snack Social
Time: 11:30am - 12:00pm
Dates: 10/1, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17
Ages: 5-21 yrs.
Fee: $150
Among Friends Snack Social is a social group for those who participated in the morning activities! The purpose of this program is to get together to have snack and socialize with friends, with the guidance of Kennedy Collective staff.

Please be on time for all programs. There will be a fee of $15 for every 15 minutes past pick up time.
Preregistration is required prior to the start of all programs, as well as the commitment to attend the program on the dates and program you have requested. Please email to inquire about preregistration.
