A MESSAGE FROM KENNEDY CENTER PRESIDENT AND CEO RICK SEBASTIAN

To our Kennedy Center Community:

Based on state and federal guidelines,  many of The Kennedy Center's day programs and services remain closed or limited at this time. We continue to offer essential residential care, limited in-home day services and are expanding our virtual supports.

With ever-changing recommendations, we will continue to keep you up to date on when programs will resume. Please sign up here if you aren't on our email list.

We know this continues to be a stressful time for our families and community. Kennedy Center staff will be reaching out to offer support virtually. If there are other ways we can support you and your family right now please email [email protected] and tell us how we can help.

Please know The Kennedy Center is strictly enforcing policies and procedures focused on best protecting the health of individuals and staff in our essential services. We are also exploring all options for safely resuming programs.

Our Behavioral Department has created a helpful guide on getting loved ones comfortable with face masks. Please click here to find the guide on the use of masks. Our staff will also continue to offer support and are available to answer questions.

I am deeply grateful to all of you who have reached out to offer words of encouragement and those who have donated items or made financial contributions. Many of the precautions we have taken are costly and supplies are difficult to come by. If you are in a position to offer support to strengthen our essential services, please visit our donation page.

We continue to post updates and share stories on our Facebook page, so be sure to check in. I will keep you up to date on major changes through email or our new emergency phone notification system, when necessary.

Sincerely,

Rick Sebastian

President & CEO
