The Kennedy Center was founded in 1951 with an unwavering mission to serve and empower people with diverse abilities to reach their full potential. With kindness and compassion, we offer innovative and comprehensive in-home, day, and residential programming to persons with disabilities. Our employment programs provide job opportunities through our Business Enterprises, Community Services, and Workforce Development program. We believe our community is stronger when all people are empowered to contribute, share, and thrive.

Provide life-changing supports and programs for nearly 2,000 individuals and their families through our in-home, 16 day and 15 residential programs
Breakdown barriers to employment and support the hiring of individuals with diverse abilities through our Business Enterprises including:
Provide Autism-specific programming that encourages teens, young adults, and their parents to gather, learn and engage with others
Offer vibrant, creative and artistic exploration through the Maggie Daly Arts Cooperative
Provide youth to young adult transition programming for soon-to-be high school graduates
Teach people with disabilities and seniors how to navigate mass-transit systems and become more independent through our nationally acclaimed Travel Training Program
